The school’s unique interpretation of
Irish dancing has captured the imagination of many television and
concert audiences throughout the World.
The Display performances form an important part
of the schools schedule and there have been many television appearances
such as the V. J. Celebrations, Millennium Service, Highway, Songs
of Praise and Children in Need. Performances with celebrities include
Brian Kennedy, Daniel O`Donnell, Aled Jones, Peter Corry...
Teachers have choreographed dances to a variety
of different music styles, from hymns to rock music. The dancers
have an extensive repertoire which incorporates influences from
Jazz, Country and Western and Latin American.
The Royal Tara Dancers are no strangers to large
audiences, pupils as young as four years old have regularly performed
in such notable venues as:
Grosvenor Hotel, London
The Waterfront Hall
The Grand Opera House
The Ulster Hall
Odyssey Arena
City of Ember (movie wrap up party)
The dancers have also entertained tourists on many luxury cruise
liners which are visiting our shores.
The dancers undertake a wide variety of
charitable display work and have participated in many functions
in aid of many worthy causes.

The Royal Tara Dancers have also been sole representatives
for Northern Ireland at International and Cultural Festivals in
Europe.
Countries visited include:
Holland, Spain, Canary Islands, France and Portugal. |
